Organizational structure

 

Union Parishad is formed with 1 chairman and 12 members. The recent changes in the structure of the Union Parishad by the present government are shown below.

1. Chairman: There will be a chairman in the union council and he will be the voters of the union

                                       Will be elected by direct vote.

2. General Members: 9 members from 9 wards of Union Parishad will be elected by direct vote.

3. Reserved members: 3 seats in the Union Parishad will be reserved for women. Female members

                                       1 person in every 3 wards will be elected by direct vote of all.
